Dear Dad

Dad, 

My forever boyfriend. The one who taught me to be patient in life. The one who will doing everything for his family. Doing everything with talk less do more. You taught me more by example than words.
 
You know your kids are not a 'kid' anymore, but you still playing around us, tickling us until we got a goose bumps on our skin. We have a lot in common, Dad. You are the one who made me interested into Electronic. And you feel so relieved when one of your kids got to majoring Electronics like you did.

I know you are not an indifferent, and you have so much caring in your heart but you can't really show it and don't know how to. Remember, when one day I cranky about losing my pen, right before I got an exams. But the morning after that, there's a new pen on my study desk without you saying a words. It's the sweetest moment for me. Even tough we have an awkward moment together. We know we miss each other but every time we're on the phone, you and I seems awkward and don't know how to keep the conversations. But in the end of every conversation on the phone is always be my favorite. "Hati-hati ya sayang".

You are not a romantic person. Remember when I asked you to buy mom a flower on your wedding anniversary and you looked so awkward to give it to mom. But you've got a progress now, buying mom a new wrist watch for her birthday. And you are the most creative person I have ever known. Remember you always do a craft that was my homework in the elementary school. And I always got the highest score for art subject, because of you. hehehe


Thank you for always listening my silly story, and listened to my day with high interest. You know, sometimes I told you something that I couldn't tell to mom. And thank you for always keep my secret from mom. Even just for a second. hahaha We are the best team on underground missions.

Thank you for always waiting for me, picking me up every time I go out until midnight. Drive me to the every place, that I can learn so many thing. Let me do and try everything and makes me have a responsibilities for every decision I make for my life.

I miss you Dad. I miss to have a conversations about electronic, or how to build some circuit. I miss to painting the fences with you, I miss to painting the garage for you. and I miss to watching boxing on TV until midnight with you.

I know you are tired, Dad. but please hold on a little longer. I will make you proud of me. I will hold your hand and show you the best I could reach. And I'm sorry for making you upset, make you worry about me.

I think you are the man of everything, Dad. You can do everything, and never give up for no reason. I'm so proud to be your kid. And I am glad you are my father.
